John Tomasko began a serious interest in photography after his first published picture (friends in a Bastille Day Race) in 1987. Liking his name in print and the paycheck for doing something he loved seemed the perfect combination. He actually learned photo tricks and techniques on the job while working as a correspondent for the newspaper that first exhibited his work; photojournalists became his mentors, and to this day are among his best friends.
Today, John is a contributing photographer for Transition Voice, an online publication. He enjoys photographing a wide array of subject matter. Enjoy his work and send him your comments.
