Let Me Tell You ...

Let me tell you it’s been a crazy day
I got up this morning with a monster headache
Took some medicine and waited
Before starting my day
I got the coffee started and fixed some breakfast
And found that the biscuits were missing
So I went to the store to get some
Only to find out that I left my wallet at home
I returned home and got the wallet
And went back to the store and got the biscuits
Only to find that the system was down
So I couldn’t use my card and no cash
Got back home emptihanded and frustrated
Eat my breakfast and had my coffee
Then fell and broke my dish, cutting my foot wide open
I had to go to the doctor’s for stitches
And ran out of gas
Got the can and went to the gasstation a mile up the road
Only to realize that they haven’t fixed the problem with the system
So I had to walk the rest of the way to the doctor’s
Got the stitches and walked back to the station
Got the gas and headed home
Only to find that my goldfish had drowned
I think someone held him under the water
Took the fish to my backyard to bury him
And dug a hole through the drainage pipe
Finally buried the fish and marked the grave
With a couple of sticks made into a cross
Came back inside and looked to see
If I could see the grave from the widow
Only to find that a cat had dug up the grave
And ran off with its catch
I really liked that fish

Let Me Tell You ...
