Endor's Surprise

Lady Pamela tended her garden in the woodlands when TK and BW came up looking for Endor. She told them that he hadn’t come by yet and they all became a bit worried. It wasn’t like Endor to be so late. He had promised to meet them there and spend some time with them. He had promised to teach a new spell to Lady Pamela, who has gotten pretty good at the woodland magic.

Finally Lady Pamela looked at Shar and said; “My little dragonfly, I need your swift wings to find Endor. Here is a directional spell which will help you find him. Go quickly and see what’s holding him up.”

The better part of two days went by before Shar came back and told them that he was held captive by the army of Lord Gundermire, the evil wizard. He was in the tower keep chained to the wall and gagged so he could not use his magic to escape. He had looked in terrible shape too.

Great fear swept through their hearts as they scrambled to get to the meeting hall where Lord Cassidy, the Proconsular of the region, had come to help settle a land dispute between the elves and the villagers. There Lady Pamela told everyone of Endor’s plight and they all agreed that this need took precedence over anything else. Lord Cassidy asked where Endor was kept and Shar spoke up and said; “At the castle in Yore.” Lord Gundermire was getting too bold by building a castle in the quiet county of Yore. Something had to done right away.

Lord Cassidy told everyone that he would travel to the King’s castle in York and meet up with the elves’ army in three days time. Lord Doby and Lady Becca agreed and they all went to gather up their armies. Lady Pamela, TK, BW and the fairies stayed behind to guard the woodlands. Their magic was strong inside the woodlands, but wouldn’t be much use outside them.

Lord Doby and Lady Becca got together 10,000 of the strongest elves to head out against unknown numbers ahead of them. The fairies sprinkled their dust upon them to aid in their flight. Endor must be saved.

Lord Cassidy got to the King’s castle and asked the King for his support. The King granted 30,000 of his best soldiers to be under the charge of Lord Cassidy. With them were the two elite commands of the Castle Guards, headed by Sir William Bell and the feared Golden Knights, headed by Sir Canyon Wind. Off they went.

Just outside of Yore the two armies met and in the distance they saw smoke bellowing up from Yore. They all feared the worst and got their battle plans ready for the attack. Lord Cassidy would head the main army up the center with Lord Doby and Lady Becca to the left. Sir William and Sir Canyon would take the right flank and cut off their escape. No one was going to get away from them.

As they crossed the ridge they all looked with astonishment. There was Endor walking up to them with Castle Yore behind him in ruins and in flames. All the leaders gathered together to meet up with Endor and asked what had happened. Endor chuckled and said; “Oh, I just made myself sick.” Together they all laughed and went back home relieved.
