Artist's Description

The Bright Angel Trail was originally an Indian trail used by the Havasupai Indians to commute between the rim and Indian Garden. The Bright Angel Trail connects with the South Kaibab (Kaibab is the Paiute Indian word for the Grand Canyon, and translated means “mountain turned upside down”). 2.5 miles follow zigzagging switchbacks back up the canyon wall to the South Rim and the Bright Angel Trailhead.

The original 24 × 18″ acrylic painting is painted on stretched canvas and is available by contacting the artist.
