Artist's Description

2008. Oil on Canvas 32X48 inch

Graffiti plays a large role in my life, not just personal but it also influences all of my work. “Vomit” was thought of by an argument with my family and friends. It represents the large companies right to shove advertisement down our throats and graffiti not being respected as a call for help. Also the unfinished aspect to graffiti, not being able to complete a work of art without being harassed, or thinking you could have done better. McDonalds is one of the biggest add placing franchises in the world, we see it everyday from when we wake up in the morning, on billboards, radio, television, inside trains, buses, etc, till we go to sleep at night. This painting represents the nausea the media creates with all the adds.
