Artist's Description

An adaptation (mirror image) of an ink drawing by Aubrey Beardsley for Oscar Wilde’s book ‘Salome’. Aubrey Beardsley, born in England in 1872 was a young musical genius. Later at school he began writing poems and drawing in the Art Nouveau style, which is what he later became famous for, illustrating many well known books.
