Artist's Description

Benjamin Disraeli, twice British Prime Minister, died in 1881 and was buried in the family vault at Hugendon Church, along with his wife Lady Beaconsfield (died 1872).

The view of the Hugendon Valley and Church, was taken from the grounds of Hugendon Manor, formerly Disraeli’s home and now a National Trust property.
