I was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts, but three days later, I was abruptly driven to reside in house located in the nearby township of Hanover. There I grew to become a fat baby. A few years later, I found myself morphed into a skinny toddler. It was during this period of my life I learned the answer to a most important question that had been burning in the very depths of my curious heart. I discovered the answer to this unrelenting inquiry through an experiment which ended in the most extreme of personal anguish. The question at hand being, “If dogs kiss humans with licks, why don’t we reciprocate?” A fur covered tongue is indeed a life scarring event.

Having survived the dog licking experiment of “81” and subsequently the tumultuous Gen. X dominated first half of the 90’s, I decided to enroll in Pratt Institute. There I would learn the art of animation. I simultaneously learned the craft of tattooing in the Pratt dormitories. I found employment at a tattoo shop on St. Marks in ‘98 which led me to abandon my desire for a career in animation. After graduating Pratt with a BFA, I continued to tattoo at various tattoo shops throughout the city such as Fun City, Dare Devil, Rising Dragon and Saved Tattoo. On July 14, 2011, I opened Greenpoint Tattoo Company in Brooklyn.
