Without you I am not.

The stage is set
Bright lights turn to red and fade to black
Creatures of the night come to dance in drag
Pull those ropes!
Pulling back those torn curtains
The audience applauses
As the fool is castrated
All that you do is worry
All that I do is worry
Awe my sweetheart
I do not only worry
I love and I hurt as well

Throwing stones at poor lovers
Hiding my face under ghost like covers
My lips have kissed quite a few loose bricks
And my flesh still remembers the switches licks
My stomach has been forced to digest
To combine
Lies
Greed and unfaithfulness
The unkind

I must be left alone to defecate out these sour feelings within this oversized
Misused gut of mine
My hair falls in front of my face
And I allow each strain to scrape out my blinded eyes
How could I even want to see?
Why should I look now upon this womb-?
When at one time it was so near
All I want is your memory

So pluck out my damn eyes and allow me to live in this fantasy
My fantasy!
My fiction
Where you once held me within your arms
Where we made love

Now you have decided to go
Carried away by the wings of reality
Truth comes to view quickly for the wise man
But too slowly for my own tangled mind

With you I am
Without you I am not.

Without you I am not.
