Blow Wind Blow........(POEM)

When I was looking at this old house the wind was blowing about 40 miles an hour, with gust way over 50 miles an hour.
I couldn`t help but wonder why this house didn`t just blow over,…
Then it started talking to me.Telling me what I did not understand.

Blow Wind Blow

Blow Wind Blow

Let the wind blow said the house,
I`ll still stand.
When the wind blows,
I feel grand.
On this land
I`ll always stand.
Missing a plank or two,
Or maybe a screw,
That just lets the wind blow through.
The families I once known,
They have long since gone.
Just me and a mouse,
In this old house.
Blow wind blow,
Here I`ll stand.
I twist and bend,
I have no soul.
When the strong wind blows,
I dig in my toes.
I lean,
But do not break.
Like me,
They no longer make.
How much wind,
Can this house take.
