As tourist attractions go, the RAF Museum, Cosford,England, is one of Shropshire's biggest, pulling in more than 200,000 visitors per year, and it's also the county's only national museum.
Open throughout the year, the museum is free to enter.
The new £12.5m National Cold War Exhibition, opened in February 2007, displays some of the latest aviation technology and offers an insight into the tense superpower stand-off during much of the 20th Century. The new hangar is the world's first permanent exhibition dedicated to the Cold War. Inside you'll find 17 aircraft, military transport, missiles, memorabilia and interactive zones.
