Busy Time of Year

Work

The new school year is almost upon us over here in Canada, and with it comes the school photography season. We’re already in high season mode at the studio, with all the preparations and training.

This means that I will be away from the computer quite a bit until the end of November.

Moving

Life on a personal level will turn out to be quite hectic as well, as we have decided to sell the house. There is a lot of work to do (painting, repairs, bit of home staging), but we expect to have it ready for visitors by the second week of September.

So, depending on how fast we sell and the moving date we’ll agree upon, I might have to add some home hunting and packing to an already busy autumn.

I’m telling you all this so you’ll know that if I do not post replies or comments on a regular basis, it is because I’m probably running around like crazy, trying to get things done…

Already I feel as if I had neglected you, my dear friends!

Exhibition

I also wanted to share a bit of good news with you.

I have been invited 6 weeks ago to submit a portfolio of 12 photos to a special competition. All images were reviewed by a jury to select a few artists among the lot who would win a free exhibition space at an artistic photography show in Montreal. I’m very happy to say that my work has been selected, and I will be among those who won a space to exhibit 6 images in 16×20 frames.

So if you happen to be in the Montreal area anywhere from September 16 to 18, I will be happy to greet you at my booth. See below for more details:
