Artist's Description

A more softer essence from me.. it was cool looking through all Fernando’s images.. While most shots were ok I was looking for the ones that had captured a deeper presence from me. I was getting a little disheartened that I couldn’t find what I was looking for. In this series of shots they were all so simpler. It was interesting to view between each shot slight head angle changes that produced a less or greater energy authenticity from my facial structure. I got a lift when I saw this image and I was brought into feeling so grateful for it. It was very empowering to see the difference. I like images that represent my true essence but had value in the not so strong ones as they helped me learn what can be a better head angle for me . The creative energy that comes through the form allows me to feel life and myself at a beautiful depth. As generally being so sensitive I can get overwhelmed by people and life. I can easily get triggered into feeling less than who I am. This is what I love about modelling and photography. Moments captured of me to remind me of who I am. I have a inspiration folder on my laptop of essences that give me strength to feel the beauty in life as I know it in my heart.

It was great that Fernando offered me to have all the images from our shoot. I do find I learn greatly in the process seeing how my body structure works from shot to shot, also seeing when my energy presence is in or out. I know this education has been very rewarding for me as a model. I used to hate seeing bad shots of me and I felt quite repulsed by them and felt left down and not worthy to be shot. I have come to know generally not so good shots will be taken but this doesn’t lessen what I have to offer or lessen my true self (although I still have to remind myself of this) If things aren’t working and it is brought into the light then through this open communication creates greater freedom rather than restricting the creative process. If the two parties work to bring both creative energies together inspiration will guide the interaction at a deeper depth. I have loved learning this over the years and rewarding to have a bunch of shots that I am proud of

I wasn’t meaning to write all this but I do a lot of self reflection so I guess this is why the writing happened. Thank you for reading
