Artist's Description

Wild Sweet Peas can be found all over the world but primarily in North America. They bloom, primarily in the summer but also in early fall. The plant grows from 4’ – 6’ tall, climbing and vining on any available bush, fence, rock or other stationary object. Leaves are pinnate, with long tendrils (for attaching). Although, it’s called a “pea” it is not edible and considered toxic. The wild peas come in a variety of colors, including blue, white, purple, red, pink and lavender.
