Dreamland, the landscape

watching my bubbles amble past me
tickles a yearning to be reborn,
for love’s sake, her cupboard

with reams of emotional ball gowns
of lustrous pearled joy or red ribbon regret,
will drown you in the folds of Sirius’ dreams;

rubric music hustled from Zion like
glossy missive knots in crevices of

a nickel-celtic moon are
hurriedly brewed into desire,
the fermentation process is
intoxicating, believe it, believe in it;

my child will peer into rakish light,
split for the whole shebang,
chase butterflies in your feet
that carry miles of sugarcane
matted in a resplendent amber -

Anchored ego-works ablated by passion,
an accoutrement for Hermes.

Moon pirouettes out of reach with a
cha, cha, cha, posing for the brush of
degas’ painted hands, and heads, and feet —

Marianas trench and sandalwood-bag vibes
entice favored sand in the fire,
For love, even if unrequited, will be molded
as she spins around and around

consequence beds serenity
to preach and reach the broken-hearted,
for somebody, for someday, for real,

this land like Helen of Troy, has a move-in special,
someday soon, along the running sand and
downy foam, dreamland’s landscape
will quell the crashing of my heart.
