Artist's Description

This shot shows the front end of a 1959 Buick Electra 225 Convertible. The car was one of about 250 other vintage and special automobiles on display at the 2009 Concours d’Elegance held at Meadowbrook Hall in Rochester Hills, Michigan. The image was originally in color but I converted it to black and white and then masked over the conversion to let the red stripe around the wheel show through. The conversion simply removed some color cast on the car and chrome as the car was white to begin with.
