This is the riverfront side of Detroit’s Renaissance Center. The building is currently the world headquarters for General Motors. The building was originally built with money from Ford Motor Company and the Ford family so there is a certain irony in the fact that GM is now located in a building that Ford helped build. This picture was taken on the Detroit edition of Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photowalk and was one of the 10 runners up for the Photowalk contest. Recently this image was also one of the runners up in the 4th annual Photoshop User Awards contest.
