Did you know that the lyrics to the song Golden Slumbers that forms part of the closing medley on the Abbey Road album were not written by Paul McCartney? They are taken from this 17th century poem by Desmond Dekker.

I was crossing from Lymington to Yarmouth one evening, when the most beautiful sunset started to unfold. Fortunately I had my camera at the ready and managed to capture several great shots. And as I did so, all the while I had this song playing out in my head – the Beatles version of course. :D
