Artist's Description

Came across this painting of mine just last week when I was called out to look at some restoration work for a client in Epping; I’d completely forgotten that I’d made this piece for them back in about 1998 as part of a larger stained glass window to a dressing room. They have quite a collection of stained glass installed in many windows of the house.

The flowers are the Australian native Thorny Mountain Devil, named after the apparent horns that develop on the large seed pods.

Approx 250mm dia. triple fired paints, enamels and stain on Kokomo glass
