Artist's Description

After seeing the weather forecast and looking at the clouds, I drove around for 2 hours yesterday afternoon looking for a new pond/lake to capture sunset on, because I was pretty sure it was going to be a good one. Never found a decent water hole and finally ran out of time, so I just pulled off the side of a country road when I saw this lone tree. Then the clouds started getting a little too thick, so I figured I had wasted the whole afternoon and started walking toward my truck to go home. Took one last peek at the sky and noticed it was starting to get a tiny bit of a pink hue, so I decided to give it just a few more minutes. And as you can see, Mother Nature produced. An awesome end to the day….Best viewed large.
