Artist's Description

I glance at my watch and step into an intersection. The stranger running close pauses to look familiar to me. Then the face turns and is someone else. I have walked this street so many times, for so many years. I pass the reflections of clouds and ghosts and daydreams and haunted vintage stores and patterns that mold and blend into daylight and darkness and dawn and sunsets that have melted into laughter. I take another step and enjoy the view. I imagine heaven being a casual stroll in the neighborhood. Over and over. Always interesting. And someone is always walking next to me. Even when I’m alone. Only now you see a different view from a different angle. But then, we always did. Even when you were alive.
