Less dosage = more effective. Apparently!
Check out some people who actually did overdose on homeopathic "remedies", in a protest stunt against the UK government funding this voodoo bullshit.
Homeopathy "works" by diluting substances so much, that there's no substance left - it's just water. The idea is that the "energy" and "vibrations" are not only "remembered", they are somehow magnified.
"Scientific research has found homeopathic remedies ineffective and their postulated mechanisms of action implausible. Within the medical community homeopathy is generally considered quackery."
It's total bullshit and there are people fighting to have your and my taxpayer pounds/dollars/eskimo pence paying for it.
Clearly if people want to choose homeopathy, it should be allowed it as a choice by private "healers". But there's no way this should be paid for by taxes, or allowed to be sold over the counter, or allowed to be advertised as anything more than sugar water. If people are crazy enough to think there's any reason for any more medical effectiveness than a "placebo":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Placebo_(band), these fools can find and fund this nonsense themselves.
