This is a JET III unique landscape and artist proof, which contains either a tree or a waterfall is circa 1983 done while living on long Island, NY, USA and is a hand pulled silkscreen print in 5 separate colors. The original drawing of the tree/waterfall (which was much smaller) was stolen in NYC in 1980 and was the theft was featured on Page 6 of the NY Daily News. This second generation, silkscreen’s background colors were created by hand painting with block-out on the screen and then finally a photo-silkscreen process was used on the black. The imagery has also been described as an ancient family tree and other similar prints from this series look beautiful when framed.
