Walking a trestle bridge makes me think of an open air cathedral. In the early morning fog, the cathedral effect is heightened.
This is the old railway bridge connecting West Salem with Salem, Oregon. After being neglected for a number of years, this drawbridge has been converted to a pedestrian bridge connecting downtown and the Riverfront Park with the sports park in West Salem.
The original is an aproximately 12 × 17 inch watercolor on paper.
