solace
When I am low
feeling down
have a burden on my heart
I go
to the place of solace
to the One
And place my burdens
upon
those strong
solid shoulders
in those hands
The burden bearer
is my solace
comforter
helper
guide
the rock on which I stand
in whom I can confide
When I rejoice
at answers given
when miracles happen
I go
to the place
to the One
and give my thanks
for the hearing of my heart
the yearning of my soul
requests heard
answers given
mercy
healing
grace
…forgiven

Were they mine? I do not know.

Hello there Elaine!! I was just thinking about you today!! Every time I look at the matt print of Tweed View I gave my mum for Christmas 2008 or 09 (it still hangs in pride of place in her apartment at the retirement village) I think of you…I am so flattered that you like this image. It was one of those ones that lies in the corners, gathering dust until you stumble on it and see it with fresh eyes.
When I did, I decided I’d upload it here. So I’m thrilled you like it enough to leave a comment!!..xx
