My World

haughtily parading inspecting the path
my territory
my own
definitely not yours
and here I shall go
wander where I will
as ruler of my estate
my world
where you dwell

by divine decree
I tolerate thee
don’t look back
from hindsight flee
for if I look back I may regret
my kindness and tolerance
to you,
my pet…

Artist's Description

Once again I have been inspired to write as I uploaded a photo, this time one of the tail and rear leg of a cat. He was parading the ramparts of his terriroty, the garden path in his front yard, barely tolerating me, a visitor to his realm.

So, this was the writing which emerged from that moment. THank you Latte for posing so kindly for me and to his pets also.
