Everyone got a bug up their butt at Christmas

I got the kids a great gift for Christmas.

There was this bug that was remote controlled. I saw it at the store and thought it looked cool, but was not sure how the kids would react if one kid got it and not the other. Finally I decided to tell them just to open it at home.

Well on Christmas it was opened and to my dismay it had a rechargeable battery that needed to be charged. Alright the hell with that so I read the directions and got the battery recharging.

Well the next day they brought it with them with a fully charged battery. They put the thing on the wood floor and started to figure out the controls. It made just a racket, it was loud and the kids wanted to run over peoples feet with it. After a short time the adults were complaining that it was to loud.

Oh did I forget to mention that it had a cannon that raised and it shot those foam nerf darts clear across the room.

Well it took some moving the bug around before the kids could get their aim down to hit people.

Now the kids were starting to fight over it.

Oh did I forget to say the dam thing just made a lot of noise.Well finally some of the adults threatened to break the toy. Well I knew my job was to protect the toy, this was to good to be true. Well the kids kept fighting over it and running it over the wood floors continuing to made a lot of noise.Of course every time one would put down the remote to fire the cannon darts at people I would say that it was someone else’s turn other than the next kid in line. For some reason that caused further fighting and noise as they fought over the toy. With Charlie’s help on aiming it the kids got rather proficient at hitting people with darts all night long. The thing kept running over the floors making a ton of noise. Of course I had to protect the toy from the adults who wanted to break it.Finally as the night worn down the ladies started to play cards. Now it was the little ones turn to fire the cannon.Charlie was able to line up the cannon right at the card game and the little one’s fired the darts at the women. Most of the time they were able to duck, but on occasion the darts hit home. Now I had additional adults threatening to break this wonderful creation. As some folks left they made note of saying it was the most annoying toy they ever saw.For some reason the kids kept fighting over it to the very end of the evening. Of course I protected the toy to the end.You know something I never even fired a dart once, or moved the bug. I have to say it was one of the best Christmas presents I ever gave. It truly is the gift that kept on giving.
