Hello and thank you for stopping by and viewing my work.

Photography is my passion and it is my way of unwinding when I am not in work. I get a great deal of pleasure from this wonderful hobby. When the light and the composition come together at the same time, it’s as good as winning the lottery!

Most of my work is what comes out of the camera, processed from Raw files using Capture One then tweaked and finished using Photoshop . Apart from levels, contrast, tweaks and sharpening, there’s not much more that I do. I am no Photoshop whizz unfortunately.

My “must haves” when out and about are my camera (recently upgraded to a Canon EOS 6D, though older images here are made with EOS 7D, EOS 30D, or 300D), my circular polarisers which are on all my lenses, Neutral Density filters – graduated and solid (recently upgraded from Cokin to Lee), my trusty tripod, remote release cable and hotshoe spirit level………oh and my wellies of course as I am usually up to my welly tops in water somewhere! Recently I have also been using my Canon M3 mirrorless camera. A much smaller and lighter kit to carry when I go out walking certain distances, instead of carrying 2 stone of camera gear on my back.

When shooting, I always put the the mirror lock-up function on my camera to ensure a sharper image is captured.

If you wish to purchase a product that Red Bubble now offer you, and you are not quite happy with the layout, do not hesitate to contact me before buying and I can alter the product setup where I able to do so. A lot of my work was added before so many goodies became available to buy so the images may not sit on the product “just so”.

More of my work can be seen here on my website;
