Inside the crater, Mt. Rouse, near Penshurst, Victoria, Australia.
This area of Victoria is a vast volcanic plain, where long extinct volcanos give way to rich farming land. Many craters remain such as this for the budding volcanologist (like my 16 yo daughter) to explore.
Captured with a Canon 5D, 24-105L at 28nn, 1/400 sec. exposure at f/10.
