I am fascinated by the creativity, the playfulness, of Life. Absolutely individual, yet inseparable from the whole: every life form, every rust bloom, every brush stroke, every atom. Everything consists of patterns when you get down to it: something and nothing, duality and oneness, sound and form dancing endlessly…

What inspires my own creativity is the spontaneity of the act of creation itself; the vitality of Life flowing through me and into my work. I have no interest in ‘recreating’ or replicating anything, nor in forcing this process in any way. Every painting I undertake is an experiment in the dynamics of flow and co-creation – an invitation to the life force within me and around me to join in the process of creating something new. Every photograph in my portfolio is moment of my own wonder and amazement shared…

I have discovered beauty in decay, and awakening in the midst of heartbreak, elements of me in the ‘other’, and the other existing at least partly within me. In the World we have built upon this beautiful earth I see pain, dysfunction, separation. But within, I feel connected to it all, I sense the underlying harmony, and I open myself to its rhythms…

“It need not be this way”, life seems to say through me and to me. “There are other possibilities, other worlds, seen through other eyes and birthed by other actions. Come, live, share, see!”

When you enjoy an image from my portfolio, you join me for a moment in my celebration of life’s wonder and uniqueness. Perhaps you will allow the experience to touch a place inside yourself where life and truth are precious, where illusion cannot stay. That place is the essence of what I Am; the source of all creation; and it is the same for all of us… – Jay

Dear Friends, / Throughout my life, I have frequently gifted the fruits of my creativity to appreciative recipients. In my Utopian dreams, money does not exist… / In the World as it currently functions, of course, commerce…

SOMEBODY at redbubble likes me :o)

You can find my artwork and photography on several ‘print on demand’ websites, but none features a more extensive collection of my work than here at redbubble.com. / I’ve always found the site to be more accessible and fun to use than any other, and the reception for my work there has always been very positive: I feel actively supported in my efforts by the community of generous-spirited artists …
