Artist's Description

The Winter was slow, wildlife-wise, and so far the Spring isn’t much better. Instead of griping too much, I decided to resort to Plan B: Macro Photography.

This is from the old YMCA close to my house – the leaves on the trees are just starting to bud & bloom. The overcast skies made for some very nice light. The only problem was the wind (but isn’t it always when you shoot macro outdoors?). I do have a Plamp (a gizmo to gently clamp on the subject to keep it from moving), I just neglected to bring it. It could have been a bit sharper, but the wind and slow shutter speed conspired against me.
