I was lazy and slept in today, so I’m posting another image from last weekend.
There are lots of potential dangers for foxes, including coyotes and domestic dogs, so they’re always pretty wary and continuously check their environment.
Because this is a large city park, there are lots of people and their dogs around. They’ve adapted remarkably well – in fact, I’ve seen foxes walking down the trail 10 feet behind dog walkers, and neither the person or the dog seems to be aware they’re being followed so closely.
I’m out tomorrow morning with another Bubbler – wish us luck.
