I have been working in the broadcast industry for the last 19 years and have recently branched out into nature and wildlife photography. I am self taught in both videography and now photography. I remember growing up watching just about every nature documentary on television. Being out in nature to me is one of the best things any person can do. The chance to see and capture photographs of nature has been a highlight in my life.

I have always had an affinity for nature in all forms. I find beauty in just about any aspect of the natural world we live in. The world is a masterpiece and wildlife makes up each aspect of that masterpiece. It was been a privilege to be able to get out and capture images of the various forms of life that surrounds us. With a formal background in Horticulture I started out shooting flower photographs for my website and fell in love with the activity. It soon became an addiction and I was out shooting just about anything that moved or didn’t move. I hope to be able to continue taking photographs and sharing them with people for many years to come.

I hope you enjoy my photographs as much as I have enjoyed taking them.

Boreal Owl

This year we were very lucky to have two Boreal Owls spend the winter in Ottawa. This is the first time they have been confirmed staying for any length of time with in the city limits. / Boreals are rare to find at any time. I had the good fortune to find it in a fairly open area and got some decent video footage of it. Please enjoy. / http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7sVFR6vouM
