In Dreams. (A poem written at midnight)

In my dreams, I speak with
Grandfathers who have passed
Onto the next stage of universal being
And they tell me tidbits of advice
And it makes me smile to know
That they are looking out for me

In my dreams, I see images of
Travels that have passed,
And travels yet to come
And my hopes and dreams in
Different lands, with different people
And I want to buy plane tickets all day

In my dreams, I conquer all
Of the obstacles in my life
And I feel like a million dollars
Because I am a goddamn unstoppable
Machine of Victories, but it’s slightly bittersweet
Because it’s all just in my dreams

In Dreams. (A poem written at midnight)
