Yoko Collin is an award winning visual artist who creates fine art with Sumi ink and Gansai paints, oil & acrylic paints, pastels, and graphite. She was born and raised in Japan. She’s been focused on creating Japanese Calligraphy and Sumi-E paintings past some years. She was trained Shodo (Japanese Calligraphy) since when she was 4 or 5 years old under her father who was a master Shodo painter in Japan. Shodo and Sumi-E painting is her roots, her culture, and her father's legacy.
