Artist's Description

CORRECTION:

Please be advised, this is not actually a photo of Deadly Nightshade (Atropa belladonna). It is in fact known as Woody or Bittersweet Nightshade (Solanum dulcamara). The two are related but the two plants look quite different. Deadly Nightshade has dull pink or purple bell-shaped flowers and small, round black fruit. Woody Nightshade isn’t as toxic as Belladonna, but can make one quite ill if ingested.

Apologies for this post coming out of nowhere but it frustrates me to see plants mislabeled in this manner.
