My painting "Bodywork" has been chosen as a finalist in the Corangamarah Art Prize

Hi I have some exciting news! My painting ‘Body Work’ has been judged and chosen as a finalist for the con.ceit’10 Corangamarah Art Prize.

The Opening Night will be held on 7th August 2010, At the Otway Estate Winery and Brewery, with artwork on display until Sunday, 15th August.

This painting takes the viewer into the world of extreme tattoo art and beyond, and presents tattoo as an art form.
The body is the tattooist’s canvas and the art collector becomes the painting. Tattoos are an art form in their own right and the passion of the collector is evident in his willingness not only to collect the art but to adorn his body with it for eternity revealing his soul.
