Ugly Crocodile

Oh ugly crocodile
your arrogance is your armour.
Body so cumbersome;
you’re certainly no charmer.

Surly grin hidden by murky water;
agile as an arrow, when your prey you slaughter.
Cold eyes, remorseless as you gaze from the bank,
your belly so full, fat and thick as a tank.

Lazy in the sun, your small brain is at rest;
why you were created only God knows best.
