Bill, a ninety year old gentleman we met on holidays at Mogareeka Inlet just after he’d been fishing. A lovely old fella, he was up for a chat about anything and everything. I really wanted to take his portrait but was a bit shy to ask. But after seeing me wandering about with my camera, he actually asked me if I’d like to take his photo, so I was stoked. He just kept chatting. At the point of this capture he was talking about the war and got quite emotional. Taken in natural light, late afternoon.
