PARK BENCH

Park Bench…

I am sitting at the park, any park on a bench
The truth is politically, I am always sitting on a bench
I am nothing but a wench
And not a very good one at that
Somebody get the bat
Nothing I do much matters
At least that is the way they always try to make me feel, I’m just cathairs
Left on someone’s couch
I know I am nothing but a grouch
If you don’t like my poem you don’t have to read it
After all you are free, that must be nice, now beat it
Oscar the Grouch, the puppet that lives in the garbage can on Sesame Street is my brother
My sister, well I guess that would have to be Miss Piggy
Pink was her color too, oh drother
Pretty soon I am going to have to buy a wiggy
If you want me to call you on your cell
We can have good times sitting around talking about persecutions and hell…

Artist's Description

This is about political and sexual persectution and abuse. And other abuses as well, emotional, mental, financial, and physical. It is about feeling confined and depressed…because I am going nowhere in life, at least that is how they try to make me feel, that I am just sitting on a park bench wearing red.
