MY HANDS ARE SHAKING

My hands are shaking

I don’t go outside
Because people won’t leave me alone
I am tired and afraid, so I hide
I don’t really want to have to get someone on the phone
I am tired of being a call-girl
That is exactly what they make me feel like
Wouldn’t it be nice to have a respectful relationship, like a pearl
Sleeping in an oyster, instead of the games of psyche
I have a hard time focusing on anything
Because my life has no security
But I have no choice, I have to keep going
And hoping to edge the insecurity

Artist's Description

About wishing for true love, a relationship with respect. About being alone and becoming a hermit because your problems are so overwhelming. About being made to feel dirty for what other people do every day, which is have relationships and sex. About losing focus and direction in life. About lack of security, always living on the edge. About extreme stress.
