If you have a spare moment to go and vote, it would mean the world to me.

Being selected would allow me to work full time as an artist for the first time in my life. It would be a dream come true, and is a prospect so enormously exciting that my brain can only express itself through tired (but true) cliches right now.
…

As a token of my appreciation (bribe) I am doing daily prize giveaways for a week.
To kick off the week, i will be giving away a pizza peaks print to one lucky voter. Simply:
1. Follow the link above to vote

Pizza Peaks Complete

I believe my Pizza Mountains are complete (which is a sentence I don’t get to use enough).
Being new to this whole painting thing, I’m still fumbling my way through, learning the techniques as I go, but I’m pretty pleased with how it looks. Food is fun to paint. I will certainly doing more.
Prints of Pizza Peaks will be available here soon!

I think I’ll play with this idea more in the future.

The original painting is 16″×20″, acrylic on canvas.

But in the last couple of year or so, I realised all the art I was falling in love with was all brightly coloured, and I started getting annoyed that the work I was able to create was no longer the work I wanted to create. My work was all black and white, like old photographs. Also like old photos, it felt it
