The Sun Blessed Days.

The proud rising dawn
Brings glory and hope,
Caressing the lawn,
And rose tinting my scope.

Larks sing in the trees,
Pleasant sounds to my ears,
Carried by gentle breeze
That removes all my fears.

I attempt the stairs
With a bounce in my step,
For the world always shares
Its most glorious secret.

Sometimes shady grey
Blocks the birth from sight,
Black moods do not stray
When unbroken by light.

But this morn I awoke
To those blessed golden rays,
Which tirelessly evoke
Honest smiles through my days.

So ‘good morn’ happy world,
I vehemently say,
And thankyou so much
For blessing my day.

The Sun Blessed Days.
