STORM AT DAWN

They gave us mirrors reflections of souls
We couldn’t find faces
We were kissed in hearts
And given warm sheets of lungs
We were given drawn velvet skins which
In adolescence fit so well
Springy flexible like a fresh fruit
So that no one figure out human nature
They gave us mirrors reflections of souls
I couldn’t find my face

In the maze of veins muscles bladders
Use of organs wetted in blood
Sleepless nights are haunting us
Not to be resting not to be rested
Since when the guarding thought
Pierces through the side gently with fog
Face to face with Nazarene
When he is whispering words with resignation
And gives out the last breath
Then dawn announces its arrival
With a feast on a pale cheek
