Artist's Description

Arctic winds over lone rocks in a sea of dirty ice.

Once the sun sets, and the winter winds blow, the scene is terror formed. From warm inviting light to cold harsh white.
We can be tricked into thinking this must be somewhere on the edge of ice deserts, arctic regions. These lone rocks fighting the encroaching winter.
The last line of defence against an unimaginable unbeatable enemy.
The only life line for our imagination are the peaks and troughs of unending white and gray.
Our hearts grow sombre as our eyes dip from blinding white to dull gray. Our minds know that those statues of orange, our keepers of the faith, will surely return with daylight, only if we can last through the night.

Daylight brings out the warm orange, the embodiment of the South Australian coast line. Were the rust meets the blue jewel. The waves caress these giants for eons to bring about fine blonde sand, our path to the ocean, to splash and play among these, self sacrificing guardians.
