Artist's Description

The skeletal remains of a Holly leaf are more beautiful than ever, showing off the intricate and delicate veins of what used to be a deep shiny live leaf.

This is the same Holly leaf as in the next photo. It is merely flipped over and facing in the opposite direction.

Taken using available light through window. Leaf placed on washing machine due to the sheen and ability to produce a shadow, as well as a subtle texture!
