I’m a traditional and 3d artist living in Northumberland, England. I was born in London in 1994, where my dad worked as senior artist for the metroploitian police. You could say I inherited an interest in art from him, I would spend most of my time as a kid doodling and sketching.

I took up art at school and I’ve always been known for my skills as an artist, but things really took off when I got my first ipod touch. I found an app called brushes that let me paint with my fingers. I spent so long tinkering with it, seeing what could be done. Eventually I had around 100 pieces of work, all of things I love, like movies and games.

I continued this work when I got the ipad for christmas one year. The increase in screen resolution meant I could work in even greater detail and when the time came to apply to university I figured I would put some of my ipad work into my portfolio. It must have been a good move because I got in and am now studying computer games art at Teesside University in Middlesbrough. Here I’ve been introduced to 3d modelling and loads of people just like me!

things to know?

I love games. The worlds they let me explore and the characters I’m introduced to through them have always amazed and inspired me.

Also TV, I don’t think I’ll ever be “too old” for cartoons :)
