Artist's Description

This plant grows on rocks and walls and is very similar to English Stonecrop, but with yellow flowers instead of white.

This plant is known by several names, but the most interesting is: “Welcome home husband though never so drunk”!

The Manx name for this flower is “pibbyr y voalley”, which means “wall pepper”.
