Artist's Description

The Silverburn river flows from South Barrule to Castletown. Its banks are home to a very wide variety of wildflowers. Amongst others, you will find snowdrops, common butterbur, wood anemone and common monkey-flower growing along the Silverburn’s banks – all species that are uncommon elsewhere on the island.
