Sant’Agata dei Goti is a municipality in the province of Benevento, Italy. I spent a rather wet afternoon there while visiting my mother-in-law for the New Year. It’s a beautiful place.
This is the door of the cathedral in the centre of the old town.
The building, dating back to the year 970, was reconstructed in Romanesque style in the XII century, during the Norman domination.
The portal, of the end of the XI century, recalls that of Montecassino. The doors date back to1647.
